By published September 28, 2023

Halloween Pumpkins

We’re heading into the heart of the fall season. It’s full of fun family events, including pumpkin patches, trunk-or-treat activities, hay rides and non-scary Halloween fun. But…sometimes you feel like a little fright. If you’ve got older kids who are looking for thrills or are a grown-up who never outgrew the desire to be terrified during the scary season, check out one of these attractions of haunts and horror.

Killdare Haunted City
Bridgeview Park District
8100 South Beloit Avenue
Bridgeview
708-594-1818
Toxic waste clowns and zombies will be wandering around - and you never know when they’ll pop up. Prepare to be scared at this park district run haunt site, which will be open Fridays through Sundays in October as well as Halloween night.

If clowns freak you out, imagine being chased by one. These petrifying creatures will be coming at you with scary speed at the annual Scary Clown Chase.
